Like most snack food makers, the Cheetos food scientists have been kicking out some odd flavor combinations. This time around we tried the Chessar Jalapeno Crunchy Cheetos.
The Cheetos website describes these snacks as: Bold, cheesy CHEETOS® meet spicy jalapeño in this DANGEROUSLY CHEESY® snack. CHEETOS® Crunchy Cheddar Jalapeno Cheese Flavored Snacks are made with real cheese and just the right amount of heat.
In all fairness, I’m still working on being a Jalapeno fan as I’ve never really had them on my radar as something to eat.
As for my take on these, the Jalapeno Cheddar Cheetos are pretty mild, with a moderate flavor.
Allyson disagreed with me and decided that they really don’t have much flavor at all. We disagreed on that.
All in all, I liked them better than the Cajun Flaming Cheddar Cheetos we tried a while back.
